Good news, folks, AMC and Sony Pictures have announced that they are moving forward with a Breaking Bad spinoff tentatively titled Better Call Saul.
According to a statement released by AMC, the new series is based on the show’s popular Saul Goodman character with the working title Better Call Saul. Plans call for Better Call Saul to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.
The Hollywood Reporter also mentions that writer/producer Peter Gould will be in charge of the series and Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan will also still be involved.
