And now the celebrity booze you’ve all been waiting for, Sam Snead’s beer! Wait, what? That’s right folks, the late, great Slammin’ Sammy has his own beer.
Inspired by Sam Snead, one of golf’s greatest gentlemen and champions, Slammin’ Sam was created specifically to quench the palates of discerning golfers and active lifestyle consumers.
Slammin’ Sam boasts a slightly mellow flavor, delicious taste and exceptionally balanced finish. In addition to World Golf Village Resort, top-tier golf destinations serving it in bottles and cans include Pinehurst, The Greenbrier, The Homestead and select Sam Snead’s Tavern locations, as well as additional resorts, golf courses, restaurants, bars and grocery stores throughout North America.
Admittedly, I don’t know what a beer ergonomically designed for golfers means. Is it incredibly low in alcohol so you can survive the beer/hole rule? No one like when his cart-mate passes out on the 13th green. The courses frown upon that as well. Does it somehow stay incredibly cold even on a hot day? It seems as though can tech like that would come out of Coors Light. Whatever makes it perfect for golf, it comes from Florida so it’s probably illegal. All the more reason I want to try Slammin’ Sam!
