Providence College blocked off 26 seats last night to honor Newtown victims. A touching and sincere tribute to the lives lost in last week’s school shooting. We’ve seen a number of athletes acknowledge the tragedy in their own way—Chris Johnson wrote the names of those killed on his cleats, Miami Heat players brought their kids on the court for a moment of a silence.
But this one, this one seems most appropriate. Silent and powerful.
