Another day, another made up story about Floyd Mayweather’s gambling winnings. According to Warriors guard Jarrett Jack, the game-winning basket from Draymond Green last night gave the boxer a cool $100k. How does Jack know? Well, Floyd told him of course…after the game.
At least we hope it was after the game. Otherwise, David Stern will have a massive coronary.
“Floyd Mayweather put a little bug in my ear, told me he put a little bet on us. Floyd is no stranger to the casino, said he put $100,000 on us,” Jack said.
Like many other degenerate gamblers, you never hear about the losses, just the wins. Particularly the really big wins. The ones that pay off to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Speaking of which, isn’t the IRS slightly concerned about Mayweather’s growing bank account? Seeing as how he’s not fighting these days, this new income might set off their radar.
