iPhone docks are a dime a dozen. Often literally, if you go to the right drugstore and riffle through their gift bin right now. It really takes some unique features to make a dock stand out. So NYNE decided to make their NH-6500 a guitar amp, as well.
The NH-600 is in many respects a fairly straightforward iPod dock. It’s got the thirty-pin connector in the top, Bluetooth, the ability to hook up other audio components such as CD players, and a pretty good set of cones: Two full-range drivers, two tweeters, and a subwoofer are all packed in the cabinet. It’s even portable, so if you want to set one up for a party somewhere else, it’s easy to haul.
But, of course, that’s only half the story. It’s also a fully functional guitar amp, making it easy for you to plug your axe into the back and actually play some music if you’re so inclined.
Granted, being a high end audio system, it’s not cheap at $900 or so. But if you’re looking for high quality sound and to save some space, look no further.
