Julianne Moore will be playing the role of President Alma Coin in the last two Hunger Games films, Mockingjay Parts One and Two.
“Julianne Moore cast as President Alma Coin in @TheHungerGames: Mockingjay Parts 1&2,” tweeted Lionsgate today.
Coin is the President of District 13 and a key player in the conclusion of the series.
Moore, who has four Academy Award nominations to her credit, now joins Natalie Dormer of Game of Thrones and Evan Ross of 90210 as new stars entering the Hunger Games trilogy mix. Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part One has a release date of November 21, 2014, while Part Two is set for release on November 20, 2015.
Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be released on November 22.
