Throwing a BBQ away game has always been a pain in the ass, but The Grill Trike is the answer to all your problems. It’s a grill, stereo, and cooler all attached to an electric powered tricycle.

The upside is to the Grill Trike is that you can throw a party anywhere with ease. No more carrying coolers and shitty little grills around, and no blowing out your portable speakers. Just hop on and ride off to the land of beer and brats.

The downside is that there is only one Grill Trike in existence because some guy in San Francisco built it for himself. Lucky for you he’s too lazy to take it upstairs now that he doesn’t have a garage, so he’s selling it on eBay. If you have $1,400-$2,000 lying around, you could be the Lance Armstrong of grilling.

Here are the specs, should you want to become a BBQ biker:

THE TRIKE: It’s a Torker Tristar HD ($649 plus shipping, purchased and assembled at Refried Cylcles on 17th st) – and I added the most powerful and durable electric motor I could find, Golden Motors’ “Magic Pie 2″ motor ($415 online). There are four 12volt 20ah SLA batteries ($300 online) powering the motor with 48 volts. The motor has regenerative breaking and can easily pull the whole Grill Trike up hills and around the city.

THE STEREO: the stereo is powered by another set of batteries, two 12volt 22ah SLA batteries ($225 online), which provide electricity for the 800 Watt MB Quart FX4.100 amplifier ($135 online), which in turn powers the ported 12″ Kicker subwoofer ($160 online) as well as the two sets of Alpine SPS-610C Type-S 6-3/4″ component speakers ($130 online) – all speakers are mounted in carpeted boxes ($75 online). You can move the component sets around easily to accommodate all kinds of different situations (notice the various speaker placements in the pictures).

THE BBQ: It’s a Fiesta 25,000 BTU 2-Burner Gas Grill ($100 online) with 20lb propane tank ($30 at action rentals). You get a plastic table top work area with dome-covered condiment trays for lettuce/onion/tomato/etc. ($85 at Tap Plastics & Economy Restaurant Fixtures). There’s also a plastic storage binand a full size cooler for food and drinks ($45 at Sports Authority).

Tip of the cyclists hat to Thrillist for the find.
