You may think that your ability to remind women of a minstrel show on your OkCupid profile is a good thing. One guy is about to get a big ol’ dose of reality on that one.

A black woman in Ontario, Canada sent lady site Jezebel a tip on how she came across the charming blackfaced gent, pictured left.
“I was completely shocked,” she said in her email to the site. “It was doubly horrifying because this guy was supposed to be a ‘match’ for me!”
The guy also claims to enjoy off-roading and karaoke which both seem like perfect ways to round out a well-balanced life of casual — but very labor intensive — racism.
It seems like the bigger concern here is OkCupid’s famous algorithm. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that maybe OkCupid should find someway to detect that this girl is African-American and this dude is bathing his face in shoe polish and go, “Hmm. Probably a good idea to adjust.” I don’t think I’m asking for too much here.
