Jimmy Fallon and The Roots wrote three new walk-up songs for New York Yankee captain, Derek Jeter. One of them might even make its way into Yankee Stadium.
Unlike Fallon, I rarely break down laughing while watching a funny sketch. When the 2nd song started though, I might as well have been Tugg Speedman prepping to play Simple Jack. Sure I was exhausted and just about anything would have made me laugh, but I’m pretty sure it was actually funny. Jimmy Fallon can definitely have a career in parody heavy metal if this whole “talking to famous people for money” thing doesn’t work out.
