Newsroom starts this weekend and yes, I enjoy the show. Sorkin is an asshole who gets infatuated with cliches and dialogue but it’s still riveting TV. Here’s what else you can you watch this weekend.
Cult @ 8pm Friday, The CW: Oh no, this show’s ending. Tears man. Tears of unfathomable sadness.
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno @ 11:37pm Friday, NBC: Only because Bill Hader’s on.
Newsroom @ 10pm, HBO Sunday: Sure, some of the scenes are cringe-worthy but it’s Sunday night in the summer and I doubt there’s anything better to watch.
Dexter @ 9pm, Showtime Sunday: A lot of complaints about Dexter this year and frankly, they’re all legit. Show has not been as good.
