I don’t know if I’m immature or lazy, but I hate cleaning up after myself. I’m an adult though, so I have to mainline coffee. The Drop Rest coffee mug solves both problems by preventing drips in the first place.
Capitalizing on the physics of surface tension, a thin groove keeps small, nuisance droplets in place so there’s no need to worry about coffee stains. So simple, it makes you wonder why you didn’t think of it first!
It’s quite possibly the best coffee innovation since the Kurig. It never would have occurred to me, though. The closest I’ve ever come was the idea of supergluing an undersized saucer to the bottom of my mug.
It doesn’t appear as though you can buy the Drop Rest coffee mug, which is going to be a problem. Why would they tease me like this, and why would I do the same to you?
