A nasty bug is making its way through the Bulls organization leaving its victims running for the nearest toilet. One of the players affected, Luol Deng, was forced to miss Game 6 for what many described as the flu. In some circles, Deng’s absence was a no-no, an insult to great Bulls before him that played through maladies (or hangovers).
The trolling of Deng became so severe that Deng defended himself on Twitter…from the ER.
It really upsets me that everyone thinks I would miss a game bc of the flu. I’ve played a lot of games w the flu in my career.

Yesterday I was unable to walk or even get out of bed. I made it to the UC and was sent home. This morning my symptoms worsened.

Let’s just go ahead and blame Michael Jordan for this. His quasi “playing with the flu” game has been etched in stone as Chicago’s greatest sports moment. This, despite the fact that many believed it was simply Michael recovering from too many vodka tonics.
