There hasn’t been much swordplay yet in this season of Game of Thrones, but we did see a slow-building duel between Jaime Lannister and his walking captor, Brienne of Tarth. To spice things up a bit, why turn those old swords into lightsabers? This doesn’t give away any major plot points, so don’t cry about spoilers if you haven’t seen it yet. Plus, it’s Thursday. Get your life together and watch the damn show.
It’s understandable, yet unfortunate, that the duel was cut so short. It actually went on for a couple of minutes. It was tough to tell if Brienne was toying with the king slayer at first or if she just takes awhile to loosen up that enormous body. She looked slow and oafish to start things off, but she was jumping around like Yoda vs. Count Dooku in Episode II by the end.
