I can’t overstate how awesome Superman: Red Son is. It’s unquestionably one of the finest Superman tales every crafted; highly recommended. And no, you don’t have to be an avid reader of the regular Superman comics to understand everything. Plus it’s an easy read, at only three issues long.
Though anyone familiar with the source material will also know that the DLC is only two thirds awesome. What’s the deal with Russian Solomon Grundy? Why not include Russian Batman, from the comic? Who goes by Batmankoff and is more or less the coolest alternate take on the cape crusader ever created.
Anyhow, much like the King Leonidas deal for God of War, the Red Son pack is a pre-order bonus being offered by GameStop.
