All work and no play makes Jack a scary-ass boy. Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of The Shining stands as one of the greatest horror movies of all time, despite Stephen King’s hatred of it. But there are a lot of things going on in the movie that have baffled cinemagoers since it was released. Rodney Ascher’s documentary Room 237 aims to get inside the movie in incredible depth, featuring interviews with conspiracy theorists about the hidden messages and meanings in the film. The movie got picked up by IFC Midnight and is set to open on March 29th.
